McIsaac Darragh Inc. is a full-service chartered professional accounting firm, providing planning and advisory services in addition to traditional tax and accounting work to a variety of industries and non-profit organizations. We pride ourselves on staying up-to-date with professional issues through in-house training and industry-sponsored professional development.
We obtain a thorough knowledge of our clients and their industries to ensure that we are aware of their related issues and challenges. We stay current on developments in Canadian tax, privacy legislation, accounting and auditing pronouncements, and other business related issues.
Our office is located in Amherst, Nova Scotia. We serve a client base in Cumberland and Colchester counties in Nova Scotia and Westmoreland County in southern New Brunswick. Prior to December 2007, the firm operated for many years as sj McIsaac Chartered Accountants.

Susan J. McIsaac, FCPA, FCA
Counsel
A proud Mount Allison University Commerce grad, Susan started her
professional accounting career in Amherst with Doane Raymond, and Amherst has
remained world headquarters for her ever since, with the launch in 1999, of sj
mcisaac CA, now McIsaac Darragh Inc.
Susan’s love of public accounting started with the realization it is
all about the people, not the numbers, and she feels at her best seeing, and
contributing to, the growth and success of clients and staff.

Vicki Darragh, CPA, CA
Partner
Vicki has been a partner with McIsaac Darragh since 2007. A graduate of Mount Allison University, she has enjoyed public practice for over 25 years. As a tax and
business advisor to private business owners, she thrives on helping clients
with corporate restructuring solutions, business succession planning, solving
problems, and saving taxes.
When Vicki is out of the office, she enjoys outdoor adventures,
gardening, movies, and cards and board game time with family.

Louise MacKinnon, CPA, CA
Partner
Louise MacKinnon graduated from UPEI
then obtained her CA designation. She has
worked in public practice since that time, joining McIsaac Darragh in 2011 and
becoming a partner effective January 1, 2022. Louise has a keen interest in providing
business advisory services to small to medium sized family enterprises. She is delighted to serve the needs of clients
in either the Sackville NB office or the main office in Amherst, NS.
Louise is active with various
community and charity organizations such as Rotary and JDRF. Louise lives in Sackville NB with her
husband, daughter and two fur babies and enjoys traveling, cross country
skiing, and spending time by the water at the family cottage in Nova Scotia or
in PEI.

Cindy Costin-Fury, CPA, CA
Partner
Cindy
Costin-Fury, a Mount Allison University graduate, joined McIsaac Darragh in
January 2008, earned her CA designation in 2010, and became a partner effective
January 1, 2022. She has a passion for
auditing and review engagements,
bringing a thoughtful and engaged approach.
Cindy is thrilled
to serve the business advisory needs of our clients in her hometown. In her downtime, she enjoys spending time
with her family and friends, travelling, going to the gym, and
powerlifting.

Selena MacDonald, CPA, CGA
Senior Manager
A resident of Sackville NB, Selena
graduated from Mount Alliston University in 2006 and was hired at McIsaac
Darragh later that same year. She achieved her CGA designation in
2011.
Selena’s primary focus is audits and
reviews, preparing personal and corporate financial statements and tax
returns. She is the office go-to for not-for-profit organizations, as
well as providing advisory services to registered charities on how to maintain
their charity status.
In the community, Selena is involved
with the local chapter of Make-A-Wish Canada.

Deb Bollong, CPA, CMA
Director of Business Services
Deb a graduate of Dalhousie
University and NSCC, earned her CMA designation in 2015. Prior to joining McIsaac
Darragh in 2018, she was employed in the manufacturing industry where her focus
was on human resources, health and safety, and inventory management. Along with a team of Accounting Specialists,
Deb focuses on client advisory services, bookkeeping and payroll support and
HST tax filings.
Deb is an active member of the
School Advisory Council of her local school where she champions the needs of LD
and ADHD students.

Emily Parlee, CPA
Tax Manager
In 2015, Emily started her career with McIsaac Darragh while
finishing her degree at Mount Allison University and obtained her CPA
designation in December 2018. Emily’s
focus is on owner-managed businesses, estate and succession planning, and
various other tax matters. She is
currently enrolled in the CPA Canada’s In-Depth Tax Program.
After living in Alberta for a few years, she now lives at the
farm she grew up on in rural Nova Scotia with her husband. She volunteers with
Girl Guides of Canada and the Cumberland Homelessness and Housing Support
Association in Amherst and is keen on contributing to her community, both
personally and professionally.

Cayla Lamont, CPA, CA
Senior Manager
Cayla was
raised in Ontario and graduated with honours from the University of Guelph in
2015. After
receiving her CPA designation in 2017, Cayla moved to Halifax and continued to
work for a National public accounting firm for over seven years. She has
widespread experience preparing and managing audit and review engagements in
industries such as public sector, not-for-profit, medium sized for-profit, and
start-up businesses.
In November 2021 Cayla moved to Amherst and joined McIsaac
Darragh as senior manager.
Cayla loves
dogs and is an active volunteer board member of the Nova Scotia SPCA. She looks
forward to building her network in the community as she continues to work and
live in Amherst.
